Mecha Vs Kaiju is a new d20 edition of the classic anime-inspired SciFi rpg. In it you are a mighty robot pilot defending Japan from the attacks of giant monsters. But monsters can wear human faces, and you will encounter threats from all directions. This game will introduce you to a world that has lived with and been changed by giant monsters for over 70 years. You are a soldier in Japan's "Mecha Assault Force", always on call against kaiju attack in your custom-built Tetsujin mecha. But you also investigate kaiju-related mysteries and uncover unforeseen hazards that threaten your homeland and the world! MvK uses the "5Evolved" system, a d20 variant emphasizing who your character is, rather than what they can do. Resolve actions based on your character's personality Aspects, the Values you hold dear, your own personal Style, and the vagaries of Fortune. 5Evolved replaces static trait numbers with dice, making calling out your traits when you take an action a part of the roleplaying experience; Anime Archetypes put you in the shoes of your favorite kinds of character; and custom powers, talents, and tools allow you to build any gadgets and abilities you want.
