A town is actually welcoming your arrival! The moment they heard you were seeking adventure and a quest of importance, they became inviting. You have traveled together for a few months and had some good and some difficult times. The inhabitants of the last town you were in had started to talk of tar and feathers before you made a hasty exit.
This is too good to be true, you had always avoided this town because everyone knows it is fully protected. Nothing bad ever happens here! Less than 30 years ago the famous knights of good King Leopold cleared the local dungeons of all evil and a few of them stayed behind to keep it that way. Have the knights moved on or passed away? Worse yet, have they renounced their king and joined some evil cult?
The people are beseeching you to help them rid their town of a dark looming evil that they believe is about to pounce upon them.
Previous knowledge of role-playing and the D&D game mechanics are NOT required. As the GM, I will endeavor to make the game enjoyable and comfortable for the players.
Newcomers are always welcomed in my games! This is a D&D 5.0 game. It will combine Dramatic action, combat, puzzles & intrigue with background music, miniatures, miniatures movement, and special terrain for this roleplay game. D&D 5.0 is a fantasy-based game. This adventure takes place in the distant past in an alternate universe were magic is infused in everything. The game system will be quickly taught. This event will be open to all levels of players. All players will start with a play tested character.
