System: The Riot Starts

System: Dusk to Midnight

GM: Steve Segedy

System: Fiasco
Players: 3 to 5

Player Age: 18+

Fiasco is a game about people with powerful ambition and poor impulse control. Think neo-noir caper films like Fargo! You will be dumb, you will get in trouble, and it won’t go well. This game will use the new card-based version of Fiasco!

System: Star Crossed
Players: 2 to 4

Player Age: 18+

Star Crossed is a two-player game (which we’ll run two simultaneous games of) about characters who are irresistibly drawn to each other, in a world that keeps them apart. Pull from the tower to find out what happens. The games should take 1-2 hours.

GM: Alastor Guzman

System: Light and Shadow
Players: 2 to 5

Player Age: 13+

Light and Shadow is a game of urban exploration and modern fantasy in Mexico City, would you be a Channeler using the power around you or from the myths to discover the secrets of the city or a Nucleic and use your beliefs to change the world. This game focuses on discovery and magic in a modern setting where the most important thing is how you interact with those around you and venture into a world full of secrets. It uses a modified version of the Spark system by Jason Pitre.

System: The Maze
Players: 2 to 6

Player Age: 13+

The Maze is a flexible adventure that can be easily adapted to OSRs (games), Dungeons and DragonsPathfinder and any d20 system as well. The purpose of the adventure is twofold: to enjoy “breaking the door” one-shot scenes, while at the same time being able to follow them up with an overarching plot that offers you a myriad of possibilities for fun.

Sunday 9am-1pm (4-hr games)

GM: Joe B.

System: Follow
Players: 3

Player Age: 18+

Follow is a GM-less collaborative story game. As a group we will choose from a variety of quests, perhaps adventurers who need to slay a dragon, or college students trying to liberate a discontinued soda pop recipe. The first part of the game we create the story and characters, then we will take turns narrating scenes that advance the plot. After each act we will make progress towards completing the quest or falter in the face of adversity.

Together we will either succeed or fail, often its more fun to see how our characters handle adversity!

System: Heroes of the Hearth
Players: 3

Player Age: 18+

We have all heard of stories where adventurers go off to fight a great evil and save the kingdom. What happens to their friends, family, and loved ones who remain back home? In this game, we will each play as one of these characters. We will take turns narrating scenes where we explore the relationships between characters and uncover the hidden strength that our townsfolk show in the face of adversity.

This collaborative storytelling game is from an anthology called Seven Wonders.

GM: Ryan Ossum

System: Genesys
Players: 3 to 5

Player Age: 13+

Magical Girls (kinda like Sailor Moon) and Magical Boys have always been among us. However, they also grow old and have families. They pass on their magical status to their offspring, but there’s a time… A specific time when these Magical people are parents to non-Magical children. This is when you would teach them right and wrong, raise them, and STILL battle the forces of Evil!

You are one of these parents. Raise your kids, Fight Evil, Pass on your legacy!

Psychic Showdown!

System: Tokyo Brain Pop
Players: 4 to 5

Player Age: 13+

Wanna play some Star Wars? Ok! How about Legend Of The Five Rings? We’re covered. Harry Potter? I got that. X-Men? I’ve got you there too.

Gather together your friends, come up with the world setting you want to play in, and I’ll show you a system and make it happen! A game where conflicts are resolved by your friends, not by mere dice rolls. (Although Dice rolls are a thing still)

GM: Rose Rabishaw

System: Fiasco: The Real Magical Girls of Collingwood
Players: 2 to 4

Player Age: 13+

You didn’t choose the Magical Girl Life, the Magical Girl Life chose you. What’s that sound? Oh, just the music queueing up for your 10-minute long transformation sequence.

Being a teenager is hard – there’s that exam you have to study for, you’re trying to swing a date with that cutie you’ve been eyeing on the bus, and you’re pretty sure Mount Vesuvius is about to erupt on your face. Oh – and there’s that talking animal that’s been visiting you at night and telling you that you and your friends have been chosen to fight evil using your magical powers. This playset is for fans of Magical Girl anime and manga — maybe you’re the goody-two-shoes who bakes cookies for all your pals, maybe you’re the clumsy one who doesn’t know how to talk to your crush, or maybe you’re the powerful magic-user looking to take your rightful place in the world. See you after school!

System: The Quiet Year
Players: 1 to 3

Player Age: 13+

The Quiet Year is a map game. You define the struggles of a post-apocalyptic community, and attempt to build something good within their quiet year. Every decision and every action is set against a backdrop of dwindling time and rising concern.

The game is played using a deck of cards – each of the 52 cards corresponds to a week during the quiet year. Each card triggers certain events – bringing bad news, good omens, project delays and sudden changes in luck. At the end of the quiet year, the Frost Shepherds will come, ending the game.

GM: Kevin Leung

System: Fiasco
Players: 2 to 4

Player Age: 13+

Fiasco is inspired by cinematic tales of small time capers gone disastrously wrong – inspired by films like Blood Simple, Fargo, The Way of the Gun, Burn After Reading, and A Simple Plan. You’ll play ordinary people with powerful ambition and poor impulse control. There will be big dreams and flawed execution. It won’t go well for them, to put it mildly, and in the end it will probably all go south in a glorious heap of jealousy, murder, and recrimination. Lives and reputations will be lost, painful wisdom will be gained, and if you are really lucky, your guy just might end up back where he started.

System: Ninja Burger
Players: 2 to 6

Player Age: 13+

Ninja Burger delivers to Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere. Guaranteed delivery in 30 minutes or less, or we commit Seppuku. You WILL Discover the Ninja Burger Difference, or You WILL Die!

Ninja Burger, the world’s only fast-food chain run by ninja, is looking for new recruits. Do you have what it takes to work for them? Pirates need not apply!

GM: Duane O’Brien

System: Goblin City
Players: 3 to 5

Player Age: 13+

You role-play Goblins living in Goblin City. You are magical, technological, fantastical, and disposable. And you owe someone a great deal of money. How are you going to pay that debt? Who knows!

Lights system with a focus on story. Characters created on the fly, with a light GM touch to keep things awesome.

Goblin City: Explode or Die Trying!

System: Paranoia
Players: 3 to 5

Player Age: 18+

In this comedy sci-fi RPG, you play clones of yourself living in Alpha Complex – a vast underground city in the future, where there is never any Trouble. You are a Troubleshooter. You find Trouble, and you Shoot it. Why? Because The Computer instructed you to do so, Citizen. There is no Trouble. But go shoot the Trouble anyway. Otherwise there will be Trouble. You will be the Trouble. Someone might shoot you. It isn’t any Trouble. Is it, Citizen? Please think before answering.

GM: Viditya R Voleti

System: Space Goblins!
Players: 2 to 5

Player Age: 13+

You are all Goblins, congratulations! You are also all barreling through space in a ship made of junk and scrap, how lucky! Your goal: to make it to Junktopia, the rogue planet in the middle of space, a utopia for the Goblins, with your ship intact and as much Junk as you can to further its beauty!

System: Space Between Stars
Players: 3 to 5

Player Age: 13+

Space Between Stars is a collaborative storytelling roleplaying game about characters who are the crew of a spaceship exploring an unstable universe, dealing with their own internal issues and growing together through shared experiences, one job at a time. Players create their universe from the ground up, build their ship, their relationships between each other.
