A Game of Language and How It Dies

In Dialect, we play an isolated community, be it a Mars colony, a survivalist compound, a thieves’ guild, or robots left on an abandoned Earth. Each turn, their language changes, word by word, based on both the fundamental aspects of the community and the pressures they face.

We will see the members of the community change, resist change, or break as the community changes, resists, or breaks. In the end, the new dialect gets lost as the community gets reabsorbed or destroyed.
