This time, we know how the Apocalypse began.

Fifty years ago the last of the UN Colonial Authority ships broke orbit for Earth, their drive flames aching blue pinpoints in Mars’ olivaceous sky. After, there were no more supplies – no batteries, no medicine, no new DNA. No robots to nudge a fine rain of cometary ice into the arid atmosphere. No maintenance on the powersats that obligingly sent down electricity from space. No answer on the comm—just a looped recording showing a timestamp of another world, 20 minutes away as the photon flies—farewell, and good luck.

Mars, in the delicate, faltering first steps of terraforming, was abandoned.

But you—you have survived. What will you make of this precarious existence?

We’ll make characters at the table and figure out the details of our Mars setting, and then play to find out what happens. I’ll bring along the Apocalypse World 2nd edition sheets for the regular playbooks, the extended playbooks, and the landfall marine in case we want to take our game in one of those directions.
